Dr. Gerald G. Goebel was the first prosthodontist to practice on the Treasure Coast, beginning in 1989. He has been treating patients with the greatest care and expertise for 25 years. His priorities have always been a commitment to solving complex dental problems with cosmetic-oriented solutions, and providing quality dental care that addresses each patient’s concerns.
Dr. Goebel received his DMD degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1979. He completed the post-graduate specialty program in prosthodontics at the University Texas at San Antonio in 1986. Dr. Goebel served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and the Department of Community Dentistry both the University Texas at San Antonio University and at the University of Florida College of Dentistry from 1979-1983. Dr. Goebel teaches at the Indian River State College, providing continuing education to general dentists as well as instruction to dental assisting students.
Dr. Goebel is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast and Tri-County Dental Associations, and the Treasure Coast Dental Society. He is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Florida Prosthodontic Association. He currently serves as past President of DISCO, a local implant study club.
Dr. Goebel and his wife, Dr. Susan Goebel, have a son, and a twin son and daughter.
